QUALIFICATIONS
MILLING
45 multi-axis CNC machines - Precision milling -
Small dimensions up to 1,000 mm - Large dimensions up to 11,500 mm.
TURNING
CNC Multi-axis turning centers for Ø from 10 to 450 mm, with milling axis allowing continuous and simultaneous machining. Length between centers 500 to 1,300 mm.
AEROSPACE SHEET METAL WORKING
Forming (folding on a press or rolling) of large panels (fuselage) with taper bend radius.
Conforming (straightness recovery) by 3-points bending, by burnishing aluminum alloys and shot blasting.
20 companions with recognized expertise allowing them to work on customer site.
ASSEMBLY
We manufacture various complex structural parts that are essential for the aircraft.
Our special processes department uses nitrogen crimping, bonding and mounting techniques.
All these assembly processes allow us to offer our customers a wide range of services.

SHEET METAL WORKING MECANICHAL WELDING ASSEMBLY
Our expertise in folding, welding, fitting, assembly and painting, allows us to propose a complete production of sheet metal parts and mechanical welded assemblies.

AIRBUS
Beluga XL cargo plane
Requirement:
industrialization and manufacturing of 400 structural parts for the Beluga XL. Time to Market : 4 months.
Complexity:
define the Make or Buy distribution in a reduced cycle with complex project management (including material purchase) to meet the requirements (industrialization and production).
The result:
real success in term of logistic and quality acknowledged by the customer.
ALSTOM - SNCF
Railway sub-assembly
Requirement:
global project management (6 plants) with study, calculation, development, and mock-up, respecting a chain of dimensions with tight tolerances. Product delivered without any stress for the customer.
Complexity:
60 sub-assemblies which pass between all the partners from various atypical activities. Multi-site interactivity and delivery in quality assurance to the customer. Precise assembly was a proof of quality.
The result:
deadline respected – Total satisfaction of the client – Halgand is now a key certified partner of SNCF.
THALES
Assembly structure
Requirement:
Mechanical assembly structure. Complex and Tight specifications for innovation on new program. The product was previously made with mechanical welding.
Complexity:
Halgand was the project leader with a dozen companies (studies / calculation, mass cut machining of elementary parts, remachining, painting …). 8 tons of material, 150 elementary parts, 1600 fixings. It was necessary to remain flexible throughout the design and implementation.
The result:
deadline catched. 8 pieces on firm order to be produced from 2022 to 2024. Our ability to respond to build to spec and build to print files is now recognized by our customer.
